Gervais Laird (BA, LLB, MComLaw (Hons), Barrister, Solicitor) is an experienced entertainment and
media lawyer. He worked in private practice before moving in-house to New Zealand's largest
production house and has been legal advisor to a number of New Zealand industry bodies.
In 2000 he left for England where he worked for a large production and distribution company and
then a major broadcaster. Gervais has returned to New Zealand and is a Senior Associate in the
Auckland office of the top-tier law firm, Simpson Grierson.
