Profile
Harry is, quite simply, a man of many talents. He has also performed in five sold-out and critically acclaimed plays in the last twelve months, two of which he has helped to devise. On top of this is a journalist and regular contributor to the international arts and culture magazine NO, a spokesperson for Greenpeace, and has had his creative writing displayed in some of the most prominent galleries and youth publications in New Zealand. He is also an accomplished athlete, having recently competed in various half marathons, and having come a nationwide first in 2009’s Ocean Swim Series. Most recently, however, Harry has turned his attentions to the craft of the Master of Ceremonies.
Testimonials
“At this event we had 800 guests ... prize winners, local film industry guests, invited media, local celebrity personalities and of course the film’s stars, director and producer along with Paramount Pictures executives from overseas. ... Harry was confident and comfortable ... Charming, funny, engaging and reliable; I would and cannot give a higher recommendation than to say that I would absolutely ask Harry to MC for us again, and hope that that will be soon.”
—-Matt Andreč Wiltens, Publicist, Paramount Pictures.
—“He was compassionate and kind, sensitive and caring. The children and families remarked how it seemed as if they had known him forever. I cannot praise Harry and his professionalism enough. ... I would not hesitate to invite Harry to be involved in anything we do in the future. He was delightful company and a thoroughly professional and accomplished MC.”
—-Amanda Nicolle, Funding and Business Development Manager, Child Cancer Foundation.
—“I would not hesitate in recommending Harry as an MC or special guest, as he really had the audience of 400 engaged. Harry was very flexible, and mixed and mingled, giving the team more excitement and thrill on the night.”
