Born in Samoa, Robbie moved to New Zealand in 1980, where he discovered he had a talent for making his schoolmates laugh. He has since gone on to have a varied and wide career as one of our best known Polynesian performers. Robbie has starred on stage and screen, as well as being a member of the "Naked Samoans" comedy troupe. His many credits include lead roles in award winning movies "Sione's Wedding" and "The Lord of the Rings. In 2008 he was co presenter on Tagata Pasifika with famed athlete Beatrice Faumuina and Small Blacks . Robbie then spent 3yrs appearing on our favourite NZ soap Shortland Street and is set to appear int he new Australian television series 'Wentworth'. He is an experienced MC and Host and any time he has left he spends hanging out with his kids.
