Anna-Maree Thomas had a breakthrough year with a standout performance in Director Lee Cronin's US horror feature, "Evil Dear Rise," and a significant role in the Canadian/New Zealand series, "The Sounds." During her final year at Unitec, she landed lead roles in two feature films: Dorthe Scheffmann's "Vermilion" and Stallone Vaiaoga-Ioasa's "Hibiscus and Ruthless."
